Georgian Powerhouse: Team Bleekemolen Confirms Sandro Tavartkiladze and Sandro Kajaia

The 2026 NASCAR Euro Series grid is starting to take shape with two powerful additions confirmed by the Dutch powerhouse, Team Bleekemolen. The organization sealed a deal with Sandro Tavartkiladze, who impressed in his NASCAR debut back in 2025. The 26-year-old aims to build on the momentum he established last season, where he finished an impressive fourth in the standings thanks to his unmatched consistency and a strong podium finish. He will be joined by Sandro Kajaia, the son of racing veteran Davit Kajaia. The 17-year-old will take his first laps in the specialized, time-attack regularity-based Rookie Challenge.

Tavartkiladze immediately turned heads when he entered the 2025 NASCAR Euro Series season with the backing of the Georgian Motorsports Federation. He quickly got to grips with the raw power of a V8 race car without any electronic driving aids and left a mark with his immense consistency. A fourth-place finish at the end of last season underscored that the Tbilisi native has exactly what it takes to become a championship contender in the OPEN division in 2026. With Team Bleekemolen, the humble and quick Sales Manager has a strong team behind him.

“After finishing fourth in my debut season, I am truly happy to come back for a second year and have the opportunity to fight for the top step of the podium,” said Tavartkiladze. “Gaining experience last year, our team is returning much stronger, and we will try to take the championship trophy back to Georgia. I want to thank everyone who made this possible, and I will give 100 percent to make everyone in Georgia proud.”

Stepping into the racing shoes of his father, Davit, Sandro Kajaia is ready to make his first impression on the world of the NASCAR Euro Series. The 17-year-old will compete in the Rookie Challenge and compete for the title. “I’m happy to participate in the NASCAR Euro Series championship as a rookie,” said Kajaia, who will pilot the #72 car for the Dutch powerhouse.

The 2026 NASCAR Euro Series season will roar to life on April 18-19, 2026, at Circuit Ricardo Tormo in Valencia, Spain. The opening race weekend of the season promises four thrilling sprint races in PRO and OPEN, as well as the 90-minute NASCAR Euro Series Rookie Challenge competition.
