In the Am Cup, it was Lukasz Kreski and Marciej Marcinkiewicz who once again stood on the top step of the podium. Their Maserati teammates Romy Dall’Antonia and Guiseppe Fascicolo from Team Scuderia Villorba Corse ended the second race of the weekend in second position in class.  Driver quotes:

Marilyn Niederhauser, #26 K Racing – Reiter: “It was an exciting start to the race, and my teammate Eike was forced to concede a couple of positions. Fortunately he was able to recover well and maintain his pace, and he handed the car over to me in second position. I was held up a little and ended up being overtaken in the final chicane. Nevertheless, we secured three podium finishes for the team and can be more than happy with the result overall.”

Ilmari Korpivaara, #25 Hollinger – Reiter: “Qualifying didn’t go too well for us, so I had to start the race from the midfield. I was able to overtake a few cars throughout my stint and bring us into contention. My teammate Benjamin was able to build on this and overtook the car ahead for second place in the final turn.”

David Klar, #23 True Racing – Reiter: “That was a crazy race! Our team put together an excellent package, and the car allowed us to give it our all. Besides yesterday’s penalty, our race weekend went pretty well – I can’t wait to get to Zandvoort.”
